Celebrating 10 years of Conway Dean
This week we have had reason to celebrate at BON, our much-loved Pump Doctor, Conway Dean as he reaches the milestone of 10 years as part of the BON family.
In honor and appreciation of his achievement, we thought you might like to know a little more about the gentle, giant Welshman who has been solving the community’s pump problems this past decade.
Con joined the BON family in 2011 after spending a number of years working as a welder. Prior to living in Australia, Con and his wife Tracy had resided in England where Con worked as a taxi driver and a candy salesman.
Con moved to Bindoon in 2006 with his wife and daughter. He has become a fixture of the local community, recently being recognized for 10 years of contribution to the Lower Chittering Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service.
Con is a treasured part of the BON family, he is greatly respected by our team and clients for his knowledge and gentle approach. He can often be heard from the office signing along to the radio in his workshop.
A true gentleman, Con regularly tells the ladies in our office how we are his “favorite ladies”, although the order of preference seems to change depending on who is present.
Con is also known for his keen sense of humor much to the ire of our operations manager Rob and the apprentices who are often his subjects. It is fair to say though Con can take it as well as he gives it especially when we label Con and Frank the retirement squad due there years of maturity.
Putting all jokes aside, Con’s contribution to BON over the past 10 years has been immeasurable. He is always ready to lend a hand and always puts our clients and the company first. And whilst he is now due some long service leave, we hope to celebrate many more anniversaries in the years to come.
